Better Than A BLT!
West Coast Salmon Scrapple is getting closer to market day by day. It won’t be long now until you can buy some and try it for yourself. Uncle Steve made another test batch last week, and very little of it remains today. I just love, Love, LOVE the salmon scrapple!
Uncle Steve’s wife, me, also known as Aunt Connie, has been devouring it daily. Today I made a sandwich that was heavenly, even though I made it myself.
Have you ever noticed how much better a sandwich tastes when someone else makes it?
As you can see from this photograph, making my own scrapple sandwich was challenging. Or perhaps it’s our 1970 harvest gold toaster that we inherited from my mother. It’s hard to say.
Regardless, there’s a very good reason Uncle Steve wears the apron in our family. He’s a much better cook than I am, plus he enjoys it. I enjoy it too.
